It's been awhile since I've updated this site. I know. In fact, my computer tells me it's been over two months (not counting the post a few minutes ago), so here's a little update on what I've been spending my time doing, instead of blogging:

-Winter vacation ~500 miles away from my current residence
-Credential classes
-Projects and homework for said credential classes
-Grading tests

Those are my excuses. In all seriousness, I absolutely love teaching. It is the most stressful, frustrating, and anxious experience of my life thus far (holy crap, I'm responsible for the education of 70 teenagers in a graduation/college required class!), and I wouldn't trade it for anything. There's something about the "Aha!" moments, the tsubuyaki as they're called in Japanese* that makes all the crap worthwhile. Add to that the fact that I get to teach Geometry, which to me is easily the most fun part of high school math, and in a wonderful school environment, and I'm really enjoying the experience.

*See, I have been doing my homework!

I'm hoping to have a little more time in the coming months, to try and get at least one or two posts in each week. We'll see. Anyway, after a layoff like that, I wonder if anyone is still reading?
